More than 500 evangelical pastors and ministry leaders, including NAE President Leith Anderson and many other NAE leaders, signed a letter to President Trump and Vice President Pence, expressing concerns over the dramatic reduction in refugee resettlement included within a presidential executive order.
The letter, organized by World Relief, was published this morning as a full page ad in The Washington Post and included notable signatories, such as authors Tim and Kathy Keller, Bill and Lynne Hybels, and Ann Voskamp, among others.
“While politicians debate and courts deliberate, we are Christians who pray for refugees,” Anderson said.
World Relief is the humanitarian arm of the National Association of Evangelicals. The full text of the letter is available to read and sign at WorldRelief.org/refugee-letter.
