Women of Welcome Coffee Gathering

Women, grab a cup of coffee and gather with other women from the Tulsa area that are seeking to pursue Christ-like Welcome. We’ll discuss important ways we can love and care for vulnerable populations in our own neighborhoods. We also invite you to reserve a ticket to join us later in the evening for a screening of the ACROSS Documentary at Circle Cinema.

Speaker:
Raquel Kyle – Program Coordinator for Women of Welcome. She is a graduate of Oral Roberts University and speaks regularly to women about ways to welcome the foreigner and refugee as Christ would do.
Kara Culp – leads Welcomers International in Tulsa. They work in a variety of ways to welcome internationals to Tulsa. More specifically, they are very invested in supporting and ministering to our Afghan ally refugees in Tulsa who arrived here when our military presence ended in Afghanistan.

Screening of the Award-Winning ACROSS Documentary

Everyone is invited to attend this free screening of one episode of the four-part docuseries, ACROSS Documentary, to learn more about our immigration crisis and how we can be responding with compassion and justice toward those affected by our broken immigration system. After the screening, we will have a time of Q&A with Director/Producer Julie Mirlicourtois and the NAE’s Steven Eng on ways we can respond to these issues.

Speakers:
Julie Mirlicourtois – Director and producer of the ACROSS Documentary. She is also the producer of the Maybe God podcast and Media Director for The Story Church in Houston, Texas where she resides with her family.
