People are made for hope and hospitality. But in this moment where can we find such things? Polarization pervades public discourse. Abuse of power is widespread. Disagreements devolve into hostility. As followers of Christ, we seek to be salt and light, overcoming the decay and darkness all around us. The transformational work of Jesus Christ is our strength and hope. On April 18, join us through prayer and giving to accelerate a gospel-centered renewal movement in our society.

Accelerate Gospel-Centered Renewal

People are made for hope and hospitality. But in this moment where can we find such things?

Our contentious public discourse often creates barriers to cooperation. Disagreements devolve into hostility toward others who think or act differently. Trust in institutions is in decline, including in the Church, as we witness abuses of power or the inability to work together.

At the National Association of Evangelicals, we believe that things can and must be different. As followers of Christ, we embrace our calling to be salt and light, overcoming decay and darkness.

In the book of Jeremiah, God commands his people to “seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile.” God’s vision of peace encompasses the flourishing of all things. More astonishingly, God calls his people, wherever they find themselves, to be agents of renewal in society — even in exile, surrounded by enemies!

In our contested times, there is a gnawing hunger for genuine hope and hospitality. This is a remarkable moment for the gospel message. Now, more than ever, the evangelical community needs to be anchored to its convictions and winsome and courageous in its witness.

You can help to turn the tide. When you give to the NAE, you accelerate and multiple a renewal movement that is centered on the abundant life of Jesus. Through your generous support, you amplify a distinctly Christian voice for divine transformation and healing in a broken world. Let’s join together in mission.

We welcome your prayers throughout the day. Here are a few prayer points to start:

  • In the midst of darkness, pray that evangelicals would be marked by radical hospitality, hope and love.
  • Pray that the evangelical community would be anchored to our convictions and winsome and courageous in our witness.
  • In a decaying world, pray that we would be people who willingly yield to the transformative power of Jesus as we seek to be salt and light.
  • Pray that the NAE would be a unifying Christian voice for divine transformation and healing in a broken world.

“We are behind the NAE’s commitment to biblically, compassionately and thoughtfully ‘rebrand’ evangelical Christianity, stand in the ‘radical middle,’ and bring health to the nation.”
