Poverty - International

Jesus summed up God’s law: love God and love our neighbors (Matthew 22:35–40). And he taught that anyone in need is our neighbor (Luke 10:29–37). Care for the vulnerable ought to extend beyond our national borders. Extreme poverty, famine, environmental degradation and corrupt government (among other things) create conditions in which populations become vulnerable. Through our humanitarian arm, World Relief, we empower churches to tackle the world’s greatest problems.
